How Much Is a Video Game Kiosk Worth? What Drives the Price
There is no official price guide for kiosks. Sales are rare, every unit is in different shape, and many sell locally. What we can do is explain what moves the price, so you can judge a listing yourself.
What raises the value
- Rarity. A Legendary or Epic kiosk will always draw more interest than a common one. Check its tier on this site.
- Completeness. The original screen, header sign, controller tethers, console cover and base together are worth far more than the parts separately.
- It works. A kiosk that powers on with its lights, screen and controllers working sells for much more than a project.
- The key. Missing keys are common, so having one matters.
- Original signage and art. Headers, posters and decals are the hardest parts to replace.
- Demo software. Kiosk discs and Not For Resale cartridges are collectible by themselves.
What lowers it
- A replaced or missing screen.
- Cracked plastics, peeling decals and heavy screen burn in.
- Missing controllers, tethers or console.
- Location. Kiosks are expensive to ship, so a kiosk far from buyers may sell for less.
How to price one
